A few updates since our last letter. The market remains active, but inventory remains limited. Two of our listings recently went under contract, and our listing at 950 South Lagoon Lane is now on the market with a new price, having taken a winter vacation. Beach Replenishment: No further news since our last update. The Army Corps has not released any updates to the schedule.
Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweeps: This Saturday, April 1st - Bay Head, 9AM to 12:30PM, meet at Beach House Classic Board Shop, Bay Head | Mantoloking - 9AM to 12:30PM, Meet at Lyman Street. Rain or shine. Please bring your own bucket or other reusable trash receptacle with which to collect. Pre-registration Required
Hydrant Flushing: NJ American Water reports that they will be flushing hydrants in Mantoloking between 3/29 and 4/7.
Mantoloking Beach Badge Sales: Pre-season rate ($110) will be available starting April 1st, through close of business on Memorial Day (5/29). Badges can be purchased Monday - Friday, 10AM to 2PM at the police department window, with weekend dates coming in May. Additional details and a mail-in form can be found here.
Mantoloking Spring/Summer Garbage and Recycling Collection: Starting April 3rd: Garbage, Monday and Thursday, recycling, Wednesday, bulk pickup, 4th Thursday of each month.
Bay Head Spring/Summer Garbage Collection: Starting April 1st: Tuesday and Friday "North" and Monday and Thursday "South" - details, including a map, can be found here.
Dog Friendly Beaches in Monmouth and Ocean Counties: A quick summary of where dogs are and are not welcome on the beach in nearby towns.
