We hope that November is treating you well, and that you're looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving with family and friends!

All is well and busy here in Bay Head and Mantoloking, and the weather has started to cool, though we have not yet had a frost here! The stripers (striped bass) are arriving, and can be caught from the beach, or boat. Whales, seals, and dolphins are migrating through as well!

Other News

As you may know, during the government shutdown, congressional authorization for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) lapsed. Happily, authorization has been restored through the end of January 2026. Having said that, a long term authorization is still being sought. You can read more here.

Bay Head Christmas Walk (with events through the weekend) - Friday, December 5th, 5pm (Schedule of Events)

Mantoloking Council Meeting - Tuesday, December 16th, 5:30pm

Bay Head Planning Board Meeting - Wednesday, December 17th, 6:30pm

Market

Happily, November has remained busy for Bay Head and Mantoloking! There have been a number of closings in both towns, including those by ourselves, and agents in our office. A recent listing by an agent in our office (920 East Avenue, Mantoloking) came on the market, and was under contract, in not much more than a week! Details of the recent closings can be found in our November report, linked below.

In other news, our listing at 954 Barnegat Lane, Mantoloking, is under contract, and expected to close before the end of the year.

We have a number of closings scheduled for the upcoming months, and the prospect of some likely new listings, but nothing that we can share at the moment!
